| The Inn at San Pancho, Home of the GataGorda (named after our fat cat, Whiskey) spends its long tropical days lazing in the sun, peeking playfully down from its perch above the small fishing village of San Pancho.
With four charming casitas sprinkled across its lawns, and set amongst vibrant flower beds and swaying palms, the inn is,according to guest reviews on tripadvisor.com, "An Oasis," "Spectacular," "Enchanting," and "Exquisite." Each apartment offers large windows, memorable vistas and its own unique reflection of the colors, art and warmth of Mexico. Our pool with cool ice blue tiles, soothing waterfall, and an underwater bench for reading and sunning on hot afternoons, has panoramic ocean and mountain views, operates on a chemical-free salt water system and at the end of the day, when the astrological influences are just right, you can grab a float and watch the sun setting and the moon rising simultaneously. |

| A gated compound, the Inn is a short walk to beach, restaurants, shops and markets. Its ideal location, combined with an excellent local taxi service, Diva Tours and Transportation, makes renting a car unnecessary unless you want to explore the area in more depth.
Recently, San Pancho, which is 45 minutes north of Puerto Vallarta's International Airport, was officially christened the Cultural Capital of the State of Nyarit. Embraced by the Sierra Madre Mountains, surrounded by lush jungle and with a broad mile-long beach, San Pancho is unquestionably the jewel of Mexico's stunning Riviera Nyarit. |

Guests have the choice of whipping up their own dinner, dining in one of San Pancho's three fine dining restaurants, going native in one of the many taco stands or cafes, or hiring our chef Silvia to whip up one of her delicious Mexican specialties. Most guests choose to enhance their GataGorda vacation by choosing a mixture of dining in and dining out. There are excellent walks through the town and surrounding jungle, as well as a fine bird watching trail. Snorkeling in the Mariettas, San Blas boat trips, zip line canopy tours, and fishing expeditions can be arranged through Diva Tours and Vallarta Adventures. Relax with a massage or Yoga session after all that outdoor exercise at the local Yoga Center, just one block from the Inn. |
